Dr. Moen grew up in Sherwood Park, attending the University of Alberta, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science. After this, he was 1 of 10 out-of-province students to be selected for the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Toronto. The University of Toronto was once again rated as the top dental school in Canada, and the experience working hands-on with all the specialist programs was invaluable for Dr. Moen clinically, leaving him with an amazing network of colleagues.
Upon graduation, he returned to Sherwood Park and has been working in the greater Edmonton area ever since. It has always been Dr. Moen’s dream to own a practice in Sherwood Park, treating the people and community he grew up in.
Dr. Moen believes in treating all of his patients like they are family and providing them with all the necessary information about their oral health so that they can make informed treatment decisions that are right for them. Through continuing education and great mentors, Dr. Moen is able to provide a wide range of treatments to his patients, including but not limited to Invisalign, implants, Botox, wisdom tooth removal, root canal treatment, bridges, and veneers. He has a passion for new technology that helps make dental treatment easier, more precise, and convenient for his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Moen enjoys playing hockey, skiing, supporting local businesses, and spending time with his wife, Abbey, son, James, and Bernedoodle, Berkeley, out at the lake. Dr. Moen loves seeing all of the existing patients and welcoming new patients to the Acacia Dental family.
